WEB DESIGNER

Our growing agency has an opening for a part-time WordPress developer. This person will be responsible for building and modifying websites, landing pages, and HTML and will report directly to our Interactive Director. Responsibilities will include developing responsive websites, modifying existing HTML code, complete WordPress installs, and the ability to do visual design. The perfect candidate is a self-starter, works well unsupervised, and must be able to work professionally with other developers, designers, copywriters and project managers.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of WordPress
  • Very strong HTML/CSS skills with knowledge of writing online forms
  • Ability to build fluid, responsive websites
  • Photoshop experience
  • Design skills to develop graphics, page layouts, banner ads and emails
  • Understanding of how to best organize content by developing wireframes
  • Ability to work within content management systems
  • Keep abreast of new technologies as needed to ensure ongoing competitiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must live in the Philadelphia region
  • Deep understanding of web and content organization
  • Willingness to do content entry when necessary
  • Discipline to self-manage and juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college, university or art school with a background in digital technologies
  • Minimum three (3) years of working experience in similar capacity

CONTENT WRITER

We are currently seeking a part-time content writer for contract work with growth potential for the right individual. Must be a team player and able to work and collaborate in a team environment. Must have a basic understanding of SEO and a strong emphasis on sales copy. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who have a strong desire for personal education and desire to be the best at their trade.

Primary role will include researching and writing business-related content for both website pages and articles. Pay will be per project but may lead to more full-time work for the right individual. Great English grammar is a MUST. Understanding of ad copy and SEO is a plus. This is a great opportunity for teachers, college students and anyone who enjoys writing.
